I cannot thank Helen enough for the amazing work she did on my hair and makeup. I was a bit nervous about asking someone else to do this on my wedding day as I really wanted to look like myself, not someone else! However at my trial Helen asked me loads of good questions and really listened to my answers and put me at ease. When my hair didn't go quite right at the trial, she took on board all the feedback and knew exactly what to do on my wedding day to achieve the look I wanted. She's definitely a perfectionist which is exactly what you want on your wedding day!!! I felt so glamorous but still like me, and I'm so so happy with how the pictures are coming out from all through the day - she nailed a look that stayed put but didn't look overdone. Helen was friendly, professional and working totally within the current guidelines, so I definitely felt safe. I can't imagine wearing all the PPE is comfortable but you would never know it, she was so professional and focussed. Massive thank you again Helen, I really appreciate it!

I just want to say a HUGE thank you for being so flexible with regards to our wedding last month and for the amazing work you did on my hair and makeup. I was so pleased with the look turned out and had so many compliments about my hair-everyone loved it!

At first, I was unsure about what hairdo I wanted but Helen was extremely patient and explored different ways of putting up my hair with me. Even though I changed my mind about the hairstyle after our trial run, Helen was so helpful over email responding to my many questions and suggestions. This really helped to reassure me that on the day itself, there would be no hiccups. Helen is very talented and on the wedding day she was able to take into account all my likes and dislikes to create such a stunning hairdo which complimented my own style perfectly! She was very detailed with making the hairdo. She twisted and curled specific parts, and whilst pinning everything into place, she ensured that the shape and symmetry suited my head and the style I wanted. Although she was gentle with my hair, at the end, everything was all sleek and secure. She was punctual and very organised. Her calm and friendly demeanour helped to put my morning jitters at ease. She also did hair for my maid of honour and it was so elegant and chic! My hairdo was a surprise for the groom and he was so very pleased when he saw me with it, and was in admiration for the rest of the day! Mission accomplished! My hair held up wonderfully the whole day even after having photos in the great outdoors with the winter wind in our faces! I am very thankful that I was able to have Helen be a part of our special day and would be recommending her to friends and family.

Thank you so much for doing my hair on my wedding day, you made me so relaxed on the day and you knew exactly what I wanted that the whole experience felt effortless and natural. And despite dramas of chipped nails and late deliveries which meant that my hair was started later than planned, you had me ready for the venue (in fact I was 15 minutes early) without it ever feeling rushed.

I want to extend my and my sister's huge thanks to you. It was a very overwhelming day, especially with my little niece being there and then my Mum not being able to make it. We were so delighted with the hair and make-up you did for us. And you helping me into my wedding dress went above and beyond. You were such a calming influence on the day and somehow just fitted in without us even noticing you were there. And didn't get cross when I went off to make sandwiches for everyone whilst you were trying to do my make-up!

Thank you so much for all the work you put into doing my hair and makeup for the big day.  It looked absolutely amazing - I got so many compliments - and it stayed put all day.  I can honestly say I never looked better.

Dear Helen I am emailing to thank you so much for the amazing hair and make up that you did for myself, my sisters and my mum on my wedding day, Saturday 30 July 2011. We were all so impressed at how you kept going throughout the whole morning. You were such a lovely, calming presence to be around and I know whenever I hear an ice-cream van it will always remind me of getting ready on my wedding morning (thanks to radio 4!). I felt so pretty and Mick couldn't quite believe how well I scrubbed up! The hair and make up stayed in place all day - quite unbelievable - and my sister managed to get my veil out half way through the day without a hitch.
